About MCA

MCA is a ministry operated continuously since 1977 by Mountainside Bible Chapel in Schroon Lake, New York. The Academy offers a Christ-Centered education for students in grades Pre-K through 12.

The Academy is governed by the Board of Deacons of Mountainside Bible Chapel. An Education Committee is appointed by the Board of Deacons to assist the Board, the Senior Pastor and the Principal in making the academy an efficient and effective ministry of Mountainside Bible Chapel. This committee consists of the Administrative Pastor, the Principal of the Academy, members of the Board of Deacons, and members appointed at large from the MBC membership and MCA parents.

Deep within the Adirondacks, where our hearts are satisfied,
Stands our noble Alma Mater, stands our lofty Mountainside.
We will ever praise and love you, for your future we’ll pray;
Hail our teachers, hail our parents, hail our God and MCA.

Care not much for wins and losses, care much more to do our best;
And as loyal sons and daughters, we will work before we rest.
We are learning many lessons that we’ll carry till we’re old,
And the Vikings we’ll remember, yes, the might blue and gold.

Now the Bible says “The entrance of they words giveth light,”
And at MCA we learn to walk by faith and not by sight.
For the trials and the testings, for the battles that we’ve won,
Thank you Lord, for what you’ve done.
